Javea International Festival 2024: Complete Guide

by Caitlin

The Javea International Festival is one of the best festivals in Javea, and its free to visit. Every year, Javea celebrates the local international community with a street lined with tents filled with each country’s traditional food and drinks, live music from local bands, culture, entertainment and so much more.

This year, its celebrating its 29th edition in the first week of July over a long weekend.

Each evening is full of entertainment, which goes into the late night with stage acts performing from 11pm onwards. I highly recommend attending if you’re in Javea during this time!

Where is the Javea International Festival?

The festival has always been held outside the Instituto IES No. 1 school, taking up the first part of the Avenida de Augusta. Here’s a map to walk there from the Javea port.

When is the international festival?

This year, the festival runs on the first week of July, on the 4th, 5th and 6th July (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

It starts each day at 6pm and goes into the late night.

Admission is completely free. You will just need to pay for your food and drinks!
