Wondering how far away Javea is from Benidorm? Benidorm is a city located on the Costa Blanca in eastern Spain, about 50 kilometres (31 miles) northwest of Javea, and are not too far apart from each other. To get from Javea to Benidorm, you can take a car, a bus, or a tram.

Benidorm to Javea by car
By car, the journey takes about 45 minutes, depending on traffic. You’ll need to follow the AP-7 motorway.
Benidorm to Javea by Bus
By public transportation, you can take a direct bus from the Benidorm bus station to Javea.
Visit the Benidorm bus station, and catch the L1 Alsa bus to Valencia. It’ll stop at Javea as part of the journey, which will take around 1 hour and 50 mins in total.
Benidorm to Javea by tram
There is no direct train or tram service between the two towns. After the tram, you’ll need to travel to Javea from Gata de Gorgos by driving, catching a bus, or a taxi. This route takes around 1 hour and 51 minutes in total.
First, start your journey at the Benidorm Intermodal tram station. Catch the number 9 tram to Denia, and ride until the Gata tram stop.
From the Gata De Gorgos tram station, walk to Av. de la Marina Alta 178 which is where buses stop in Gata. Look for the L22 bus (supplied by Alsa) which will take you to the Javea bus station. Alternatively, you can take a taxi to Javea from here.
Javea to Benidorm by car
The same route applies if you’re driving from Javea to Benidorm, where you’ll follow the AP-7 motorway.
Javea to Benidorm by bus
Visit the Javea bus station, and catch the L1 Alsa bus to Alicante. It’ll stop at Benidorm as part of the journey, which will take around 1 hour and 50 mins in total.
Javea to Benidorm by tram
Similar to the Benidorm-Javea route, there is no direct train service between the two towns. You’ll first need to travel to Gata de Gorgos first, and then drive, catch a bus, or a taxi to Javea.
You’ll need to catch a taxi, or a bus to Gata. To get a bus, go to the Javea bus station and look for the L8 bus (supplied by Alsa). This will take you to Gata, and close to the tram station.
From the bus stop, you can walk to the tram station located in Carrer Estacio (next to Av. de la Pau) which takes around 5 minutes.
From the tram station, catch the 9 tram to Benidorm, and ride until Benidorm Intermodal station. You’ve then arrived at Benidorm.
