Jávea Nightlife: Guide to the Best Nightclubs & Bars

Most of the Jávea nightlife is centred around the Arenal beach area where most of the bars and clubs are located. However, the Old Town and Port areas also offer their own unique and fantastic spots that are well worth a visit.

In this guide, we have highlighted some of the top nightlife venues in the area, providing a snapshot of where to find the best bar and club experiences. As the nightlife scene in Jávea continues to evolve, we’ll keep you updated with the newest bars and clubs that join the mix.

Jávea Bars

Chabada

Ask any local about Chabada and undoubtedly hear something like “Chabada? Oh, what used to be Champagne”. Chabada stands as a renowned haven for cocktail enthusiasts.

Chabada takes pride in serving its own unique cocktail creations alongside classic favourites. From ‘Love Story’, ‘Insomnie’, ‘Granadella’, ‘Toro’, to the favourite classics, Mojito, Pina Colada and Cosmopolitan, you’ll find something you love.

Chabada’s famous ‘Desastre’ fishbowl

Chabada is also the home to their infamous Desastre cocktail, a closely-guarded recipe shrouded in mystery, with a blend of secret ingredients that keep patrons guessing. We personally LOVE the Desatre as it can be ordered in a large glass for 2 to share, or in a captivating fishbowl form for 4+ people – and makes for an ideal pre-drink for a late night!

Chabada’s vibrant atmosphere comes alive on Saturday evenings with captivating live music from local bands and DJs, setting the stage for an unforgettable night of entertainment.

Nightclubs

Achill Bar & Dancefloor

Achill Jávea stands out as the main nightclub on Arenal Beach, well-liked for its cocktails, vibrant music, and stunning views of the Montgo mountain while partying until dawn. Find Achill on the Arenal beach in Jávea, overlooking the beach at the far end.

Achill has one of the best rooftop terraces in the area that provides the most scenic views of both the beach and Montgo. The indoor is dedicated to a bustling dance floor coming alive under the guidance of both resident and guest DJs. Achill announces themed nights, but tends to specialise on house music.

Inside Achill on a Saturday night

As clubs in Spain open till literally sunrise, Achill lets you dance until dawn, closing at 5am – just in time to catch the sunrise over the sea. This is an absolute must-see as the view is a sight like no other.

Socco Nightclub

Socco Jávea, located near the promenade of the Jávea Arenal, offers an unforgettable nightlife experience.

Socco Jávea serves as another club venue in the Arenal, featuring performances by resident DJs and occasional guest artists. The club aims to provide a vibrant atmosphere, positioning itself as a popular choice for visitors interested in experiencing the local nightlife of Jávea. Conveniently, Socco sits near the Arenal taxi rank, one of the main Javea taxi ranks, so you can get home ahead of the crowds from Achill.

Guests can expect a selection of exquisite drinks, the option for shisha, and the company of friends to create a great night out.

Molí Jávea (Molí Blanc)

Molí Jávea (formerly Molí Blanc) is a notable establishment in the Jávea nightlife scene. Moli has evolved over the years, with recent renovations in modern lighting and sound, and new management enhancing the venue while maintaining its appeal to both tourists and locals.

The nightclub has four VIP areas, an outside open-air setup, a swimming pool, and even food popups.

It’s located in Cabo de la Nao, closer to the Javea Old Town and not too far from the Port.

La Llum

Located on Carrer de Gual 1, in the heart of the historic centre, La Llum offers a unique blend of nostalgia and contemporary nightlife, making it a top recommendation for visitors seeking a night out in Jávea.

La Llum is a longstanding nightclub located in the historic center of Jávea’s old town, is recognised for its enduring presence of over 32 years. It has carved out a niche for itself with its retro offerings, notably playing popular tracks from the 80s and 90s.

La Llum is one of the only venues in the old town where you can enjoy a curated selection of good music, highlighted by the presence of DJ Paquitus, referred to as an ‘active legend’ in the scene.

Bar Khandala

Khandala Jávea is a popular bar/nightclub on the Arenal promenade, locally famous for its shishas and Latin nights where visitors dance the night away.

With a soundtrack of Latin and reggaeton music, the venue is a favourite for its Latin-themed nights, inviting guests to dance to salsa and bachata.

Bar Khandala offers the chance to unwind with a cocktail or shisha while enjoying the picturesque sea views in a fun, vibrant setting. There’s also an outdoor space for those who enjoy shisha, as well as a dance floor for visitors looking to dance.
