Looking for water parks near Javea? If you’re looking to cool off and have some fun in the sun, Javea has some fantastic waterparks nearby that are sure to provide endless hours of entertainment. Whether you’re travelling with kids or just looking to enjoy the thrill of the slides and rides, there’s a water park for everyone!
I’ve also included some hotels near all of the water parks in case you’re looking to stay and play.
If you’re willing to drive for around an hour outside of Javea, you’ll find some of the best water parks in the area, including:

It’s important to note that all of the waterparks featured in this article are family-friendly and offer a variety of amenities and facilities to make every visit enjoyable and convenient. You’ll find restaurants and food options on-site, as well as restrooms, changing rooms, and other facilities that you may need during your visit.
Aqualandia Benidorm
Aqualandia is a family-friendly aqua park with towering slides, swimming pools & splash pools for young kids, and well-known (and visited) by the locals of Javea. Whether you prefer the thrill of the slides or the relaxation of the lazy river, you’ll find it all at this locally popular waterpark.
NOTE: AQUALANDIA IS CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR THE WINTER SEASON. It will reopen on May 25th, 2025 to start the summer season.
Aqualandia usually opens its doors in June, when the weather is just right for enjoying the water park to the fullest. The park’s opening hours are from 10:00am – 7:00pm on most days, during the peaks summer season (June-August) the park is open from 10:00am – 8:00pm.

Where is Aqualandia?
Aqualandia is located on the outskirts of Benidorm, which is roughly a 55-minute drive from Javea. It’s one of the cities I recommend visiting as part of our best day trips from Javea.
Aqualandia’s Best Attractions
Aqualandia is home to Europe’s highest-standing slide and the world’s highest capsule slide – the Verti-Go. This slide will see you reach speeds of 100km/h. If you’re a thrill seeker, this is a must-visit!
The Big-Bang is also a set of 5 tall, high-speed slides that Aqualandia is well-known for.
If you have young children, Aqualandia has dedicated children’s rides like the Mini Zig Zag, and play areas such as the Laguna, and Adventure Land which also has children’s rides.
Where to stay that’s close to Aqualandia Water Park
Looking for hotels near Aqualandia? It might be more comfortable to stay a night in Benidorm near Aqualandia, so you can fully enjoy your time at the water park and have plenty of time to explore Benidorm afterwards. There’s plenty to do and see there so why not take the opportunity to explore.
Hotel Magic Aqua Rock Gardens
Hotel Magic Aqua Rock Gardens is a 4 star hotel not too far from Aqualandia (7 minute drive) that we’d recommend staying at if visiting. It even has its own waterslides and hot tubs so you can continue the water park fun after visiting Aqualandia.

We recommend staying at Hotel Deloix, a 4-star hotel which is a 10-minute walk away from Aqualandia and Mundomar, and only 1.5km distance from the centre of Benidorm and its famous Levante beach.

Melia Benidorm
Melia Benidorm is another hotel close to Aqualandia that we’d recommend staying at. Melia Benidorm is a little further away than Hotel Deloix but closer to Benidorm. being 800m away from Benidorm’s Levante beach.

Aqua Natura Benidorm
Aqua Natura is a unique and exciting waterpark also located in Benidorm. Aqua Natura is a 45-minute drive from Javea.
Aqua Natura’s Best Attractions
Aqua Natura has many adventurous rides if you’re a thrill-seeker.
Their flagship ride, La Cresta, is a slide roller-coaster that propels riders off an 8-metre high ramp into the air.
They also have a number of high-speed slides, including the Kamikaze, the Niagara and the Speed Hole.
There are plenty of children’s areas to enjoy at Aqua Natura too.
Interestingly, Aqua Natura is also part of Terra Natura, which is one of the largest zoos in the area, teeming with exotic animals from all over the globe, including elephants, tigers, rhinoceros, and so much more. You can buy combined tickets for the Terra Natura Zoo and Aqua Natura, which makes for an extremely fun family day out.

Where to stay that’s close to Aqua Natura Water Park

As we said above when looking for places to stay near Aqualandia, we’d definitely recommend spending a day or two in Benidorm, so you don’t have to rush your visit to Aqua Natura and have some time to explore more of what Benidorm has to offer. You can even spend the second day visiting Terra Natura, or even Terra Mitica! We’ve rounded up a couple of the best places below that are located nearby or a short 10-minute drive to Aqua Natura.

We recommend staying at Apartamentos La Rosita located in Benidorm Old Town. They offer fully equipped apartments in Benidorm, making it the perfect location to stop after visiting Aqua Natura to explore Benidorm. Levante Beach is only a 300m walk away, perfect for a beach day or exploring the incredible seafront restaurants.

Aquapolis is a waterpark that offers a full day of fun for the whole family, located on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Cullera. With a variety of exciting rides and attractions.

Where is Aquapolis?
Aquopolis is roughly a 55-minute drive from Javea. While the other water parks are based closer to Alicante in the south, Aquopolis is based in the north, near to Valencia.
Aquapolis’ Best Attractions
Aquapolis offers plenty of rides and slides for thrillseekers, including the Calypso, the Rapids, and the Black Hole.
Aquapolis offers amazing and fun parks such as Indiana Lake for the whole family to enjoy and create fun memories together. From ziplines, hanging ropes, slides and high jumps, the lake has it all! Aquopolis even challenges visitors to make it all the way around Indiana Lake without getting wet!
